An experience with the 5 senses. A space to reconnect

We will go from walking fast to walking slowly and calmly. From the noise of day to day to the silence that allows us to be attentive, with the 5 senses, to what happens around us and within us. We will be able to walk in harmony with the rhythm of the forest. A forest bath activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which entails, among other things, a decrease in the level of stress hormones, brain relaxation and activation of the immune system. This way you manage to connect with the most essential, since you do not have any distraction beyond that which arises from nature itself.

In the fields of preventive medicine and public health, much attention has been paid in recent years to the effects of forest bathing. Studies have shown that due to different biomolecules found in a forest environment, we can acquire great benefits in our health. Increasing the activity of white cells in our immune system such as the “natural killers” and the expression of anti-cancer proteins, among other benefits such as lowering blood pressure and reducing mental stress.

If we add to this evidence the work from functional, slow, smooth and diaphragmatic breathing and functional movement, aimed at optimizing the movement of our body minimizing the impact on joints and skeletal muscle structure, what we achieve with the forest bath is a Spectacular wellness practice.

More information about the experience

We convene the team/group in a place accessible by vehicle near the start of the activity. If the group is large, we subdivide it into groups of 15 to 20 people, in this way we guarantee that the explanations and proposals of our forest bathing guides reach everyone equally and we reduce the possibility of distractions that could “sabotage” the experience by cluster.

We will notify the group by email of the forecast weather conditions and all the necessary material for immersion in the forest/natural space chosen for this wellness practice. In addition to the appropriate clothing for the proposed experience, you should always bring a canteen with water to be well hydrated.
