A specialist from the area welcomes the group and explains the action or actions that they are going to carry out in the Llobregat delta. Small teams / groups are created and they are provided with the necessary material to carry out these actions of sustainability and care for the environment. A compromising activity that will strengthen ties between colleagues and a feeling of union and social and ecological awareness.
All the necessary material to carry out the different actions proposed in the natural setting is provided by us.
The Llobregat delta is an alluvial plain located at the mouth of the Llobregat river in Catalonia. When the river reaches the sea, it forms a delta of 98 km2, almost the same size as the entire city of Barcelona. It is the second largest delta in Catalonia and is considered of international importance by the European Union. The natural areas of the delta are a network of protected areas with great biological diversity. They are located next to cultivated fields and very close to the main metropolitan cities. In it we can find different natural environments; Lagoons and wetlands, coastal pine forests on dunes and virgin beaches with after-dune vegetation, almost unique in Catalonia. They are very important spaces for fauna, especially for waterfowl, and they have valuable vegetation, where more than 22 different species of orchids have been found.
