Build Rube Goldberg's machine and hunt down the mouse!
The Butterfly Effect is a fabulous activity, a real challenge in which the different teams will compete to be the most creative and efficient.
Participants will have to use 30 everyday items that, skilfully placed, lead them to hunt down the stuffed mouse that will be the last item in the chain. The starting link of this tour will be a cheese plate, and from there, any combination is possible!
Will you be able to create a route that hunts the mouse in a limited time and working as a team?
More information about the experience
A presenter / facilitator welcomes the group and explains the activity. Then the group is divided into teams and together they must collaborate to create a chain structure in which a ball must travel until it reaches the mouse, the final objective. Participants will have up to 30 different objects to build the route. When the time is up, the course will be put to the test and only if it works correctly and has been created with ingenuity and creativity will it be a masterpiece.
All the material needed to carry out the activity is provided by us: the 30 everyday objects that they must use to build the route.
We have all heard that phrase that states that the flapping of a butterfly’s wings can cause an earthquake on the other side of the world. The butterfly effect is based on a concept of chaos theory, whereby, if any type of alteration occurs in a system, it will affect another system in the medium or long term. To put it simply: the domino effect.
