Hand in hand with Ecoembes, in this activity we learn about the problem of waste collection while we help together to collect waste from a selected natural space.
The objective of this activity is to clean a natural area while we walk and breathe fresh air, making us aware of how important and vital it is to take care of our environment.
Enjoy a trip full of fresh air, surrounded by silence while you help cleaning a park, a beach, or any natural space that needs it.
Collect the largest amount of garbage, preserve and respect the natural environment and enjoy an unforgettable experience as a team.
More information about the experience
An expert in the field makes an introduction to the whole group explaining what the activity will consist of. Then, the participants are divided into small groups equipped with gloves, bags and utensils to collect the waste that they find in the natural environment. A relaxed activity that consists of raising awareness among the team while they enjoy a pleasant walk in the fresh air.
All the material needed for the development of this action is provided by us: plastic bags, disposable gloves, waste collection tongs, among others.
This is the set of waste generated by humans and that is abandoned in nature, altering the balance of ecosystems and all the life they house, both animal and plant. With rubbish, emphasis is placed on the presence of waste in any natural space, negatively impacting it through contamination. Its most common consequences: it seriously affects aquatic environments and the flora of ecosystems, it can cause forest fires, it can cause floods, it can alter an ecosystem, and it encourages the colonization of a place by invasive alien species.
